Thanks to these insane claims, it’s only natural to be skeptical. Is it legit or a scam? That’s what we’ll address today, revealing everything you need to know about this platform.

Doing some research can take you far since, with it, you can find legitimate platforms that work and also avoid scams at the same time.

Notion Cash Review

The website (notioncash.com) claims to be a social earnings network with which you can earn referral cash with ease. You can also complete simple tasks to get paid.

Notion Cash Logo

That couldn’t be further from the truth, though. The site shares the layout and copies with countless other scams out there. It makes the process look too good to be true, and as a result, people sign up. All this platform is doing is collecting visitors’ information in a database.

So, is Notion Cash legit? No, they are not.

These websites make it look like you’re earning handsome commissions for referrals, and when it’s time to cash out, these sites go dark. It’s possible to make some dough online by completing tasks/taking surveys, but with Notion Cash, that’s not the case.

On the sales page, you will find dozens of testimonials from happy users. Here’s one of them:

Notion Cash Testimonials

He isn’t really a ‘happy member’ as the site claims

Upon some investigation, we found out this person isn’t even an actual user of the platform. Here’s just a freelancer hired off Fiverr to create a quick video testimonial.

Notion Cash Paid Actor

As is evident from the snapshot, this person probably made $50 – $100 from the one who asked him to do a spokesperson video. This testimonial video was shot for a program named Influencer Club, which now redirects back to the Notion Cash website.

That’s a replica of the current website but operated under a different name. Instead of buying new video testimonials, they chose to re-use the same ones and forgot to edit the name!

How does It work?

You’re presented with false ‘too-good-to-be-true’ information, which is a lure for signing up. There’s a good chance your personal information will all be collected inside a massive database which is then used for sending email spam from time to time.

You may be prompted to purchase tons of random products via constant emailing. These may even sell your information to other unethical marketing folks who do the exact same thing.

You’re encouraged to spread your referral links like wildfire on social media and other places. This link-posting scam will eventually get them what they want. The scam literally runs itself since the links will tend to attract new victims to the ‘system’ day in and day out.

First, you can’t make $15 for free referrals with legit websites, or they will go broke in no time. If they are paying you a lot of cash for referrals, you better believe they’re profitable. To make profits, companies need to register sales.

This is simply a scam that continues to run under different names and sometimes with different (but obviously fake) testimonials and stock photos.

Conclusion – Is Notion Cash a Scam?

Notion Cash is definitely a scam. Not only do they pretend to be something they’re not, but they also collect your personal information and may misuse it, or worse, sell it to other unethical programs/people.

Thumbs Down Icon

Your privacy is at a huge risk, and you will never make a dime with these, either. Since they promise the world, people have a strong reason to promote the system. As a result, the links continue to spread, and this scam runs itself and continues to cheat people.

Using fake testimonials and fake stock images to boost social proof is one of the oldest tricks in the book. It’s a deceptive tactic scammers often use to dupe innocent people and make money at their expense.

Program Update:

As of 2019, Better Business Bureau has issued a Customer Report which warns people of the Notion Cash Scam. For reference, the report can be found here.

Here are a few key takeaways from the BBB report:

  • The website will make it look like you’re actually making money for completing tasks, and the dollar amount/payout value will accrue over time.
  • As soon as you hit the $250 payment threshold, the company will offer lame explanations as to why you can’t receive a payment. You will be asked to contact the company for assistance.
  • A comment on the report mentioned there’s a chance this is used for data harvesting purposes. The program owner may have wrong intentions, and they may sell your private information for a handsome fee to other spammers. Identity theft can’t be ruled out, either.

The main website has seemingly gone offline as of this update. However, you can’t count out the possibility of its resurgence, but under a different name, of course!
