Recommended Tools & Resources for Growing Your Online Business
Welcome to the Tools & Resources section of this website. Let's face it, to run an internet based business efficiently, you need tools and resources which help in some way.
For example - a spelling checker tool will help in proofreading your content and save you a lot of headache. A SEO tool will help conduct a thorough keyword research. You sure can do one manually but it will take ages.
The goal of most of these tools is to save your time, which is your biggest asset (even more than money).
If you're just getting started online, it's totally understandable you may be on a tight budget. That's one reason why we decided to include both free and paid tools in this resource.
Every tool you see on this page has been thoroughly tested and we are absolutely confident recommending them to others.
Let's face it, no tool, resource or service is perfect. Everyone's requirements are different, and there's a tool for that purpose. You absolutely DON'T need all of the tools mentioned here. Just decide what you need and proceed accordingly.
Not to forget, tools come and go. For the same reason, this page will be constantly updated to stay with the latest market trends.
Link Tracking Software
ClickMagick
Among all the click trackers we've used so far, there's only one clear winner - ClickMagick. It's one of the most affordable, yet feature-packed link tracking software out there (full review here).
Keyword Research
SEMrush
For keyword research, there are a lot of decent tools to choose from. However, the one that stands out is SEMrush. It's a fully fledged SEO tool with a bunch of built-in features. The fact that you can (ethically) steal your competitors' topics just by looking at the data, that alone makes SEMrush worth the investment and gives it an edge over other tools.
Keywords Everywhere
Among one of the better 'Free' options out there, It's a keyword research browser extension which integrates seamlessly with both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

With a very easy to use front-end visual editor, quality plugins, there's not much which Thrive cannot do. In fact, workfromhomereviews.net is powered by Thrive too if that gives you an indication of how good it is. (full review here)
Theme: Schema (MyThemeShop)
There are a lot of decent WordPress themes to choose from. It's highly recommended you get a premium theme over a free theme for many reasons - better designs, cleaner code quality (faster loading times), the list goes on and on. Schema is one of our favorite themes from MyThemeShop, and it comes SEO-friendly out of the box. Thrive is still our #1 choice though.
Plugin: Yoast SEO
For optimizing your website's on-page SEO, there aren't many plugins as feature-packed as Yoast is. It's a one-time install, set and forget type of plugin. You can get the free variant from the WordPress plugin repository. They also have a premium offering, comes with some advanced features which not everyone needs. The free version will serve you well for now.
Plugin: Contact Form 7
Using this plugin, you can create a 'contact us' through which your website visitors can interact with you through emails. If you sell products through your website, having a contact form will only help you in closing sales better since you'll have a way to connect with prospects 1-1.
Content Tools
Grammarly
If you write your own content or hire content writers on a regular basis, grammarly is one tool which will greatly help in proofreading your content. You don't want to spend hours and hours in checking content for spelling or grammar errors. It's a freemium tool - comes with both free & paid options..
